BHS DANCES
Homecoming:
- Date: September 28, 2024
- Location: Blackhawk HS
- Time: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm (doors open at 6:30pm & students are permitted to leave at 9:30pm)
- Cost:
- $20 per BHS student (purchase online only)
- $20 per non-BHS student (purchase in person only, with proper paperwork and clearances)
**Online ticket sales for Homecoming will begin Sept. 6 and end Sept. 20 at midnight (BHS students only)**
**In-person ticket sales (Outside Guest tickets) will end Sept. 20 at 8:00 am**
Winter Dance:
- Date: TBA
- Location: Blackhawk HS
- Time: 7:30-10:30 (doors open at 7 pm and students are permitted to leave at 10 pm)
- Cost:
- $20 per BHS student (online only)
- $25 per non-BHS student (in person only, with proper paperwork and clearances)

- Blackhawk Juniors/Seniors
- Guests may include a BHS sophomore, a BHS graduate, or a current junior or senior in another high school
- Arrival/Check in Time: 4:00 PM
- Grand March Begins: 5:00 PM
- Cost: TBA per student

TICKETS FOR BHS STUDENTS:
BHS Student (Homecoming & Winter Dance):
- Ticket for a currently enrolled Blackhawk High School student in grades 9-12 must be purchased online.
- Ticket may be denied due to attendance, behavioral records, financial obligations, or reasons determined by the administration.
- Student ID number required for purchase.
BHS Student (Prom):
- Ticket for a currently enrolled Blackhawk High School student in grades 11-12 must be purchased online.
- Ticket may be denied due to attendance, behavioral records, financial obligations, or reasons determined by the administration.
- Student ID number required for purchase.
- Grand March paper tickets delivered the week of the event.
BHS Student Guest (Prom):
- Ticket for your date (who is also a student currently enrolled at Blackhawk High School) in grades 10-12 must be purchased online.
- Ticket may be denied due to attendance, behavioral records, financial obligations, or reasons determined by the administration.
- Student ID number required for purchase.
- Grand March paper tickets delivered the week of the event.
TICKETS FOR NON-BHS STUDENTS:
High School Guest (Homecoming & Winter Dance):
- Ticket for a student currently enrolled in grade 9-12 in a different high school.
- Must submit Guest Request Form & copy of photo ID and receive approval prior to purchasing a ticket.
- Ticket may be denied based on recommendation from home district or BHS administration.
- Ticket must be purchased in-person during homeroom.
BHS Alumni (Homecoming & Winter Dance):
- Ticket for a recent BHS graduate, under the age of 21 at the time of the event.
- Must submit Guest Request Form, copy of photo ID, Criminal History Clearance, & Child Abuse clearance and receive approval prior to purchasing a ticket.
- Ticket may be denied based on past attendance, behavioral records, financial obligations, or reasons determine by the administration.

High School Outside Guest (Prom):
- Ticket for a student currently enrolled in grade 11-12 in a neighboring high school.
- Must submit Guest Request Form & copy of photo ID and receive approval prior to purchasing a ticket.
- Ticket may be denied based on recommendation from home district or BHS administration.
- Ticket must be purchased with Mrs. Thellman in room 226 in-person during homeroom.
- Grand March paper tickets delivered to BHS student the week of the event.

Rules & Regulations:
1. All tickets are non-transferable.
2. Homecoming, Winter Dance, and the Senior Gateway Clipper are semi-formal events. Appropriate attire must be worn. Items such as jeans, sneakers, clothes that are dirty or contain holes, etc. are not permitted. All infractions will be up to the discretion of the sponsor and administration.
3. Prom is a formal event. Appropriate attire must be worn. All infractions will be up to the discretion of the sponsor and administration.
4. All participants must stay for the duration of the event. Any participant that needs to leave early must have a parent or legal guardian sign them out at the event.
5. Upon arrival, participants must check in. All participants are subject to a search at check in and throughout the event if deemed necessary by administration or police.
6. Parents or legal guardians of participants who do not check-in will be notified.
7. Any participant who damages school or venue property, decorations, DJ equipment, etc. will be responsible for the cost to repair or replace the item.
8. All professional pictures will be sold separately at the following events only: Homecoming, Winter Dance, & Prom. Professional pictures may be purchased online prior to the event or in person at the event.
9. All rules and procedures of the Blackhawk Student Handbook will be enforced. Disciplinary actions may result from infractions.
10. All Blackhawk Health and Safety protocols must be followed.
